I found a guy with the buyout at 450k, and someone I beat the game last night with buyout at only 400k. It just depends on how little someone cares about the dragon, and how much they need money for something actually useful. Apparently these 2 guys need money more than the dragon. I saw another buyout set on here at 750k which is middle of the road I guess. So surpisingly, they don't seem to be going for much more than the Bone Dragon sells for right now.
I don't see this selling for much over 1mil. It looks to me like 1mil is hitting that threshold that people start to realize that as much as they may want a flying dragon pet, that is a lot of money to spend on something that does nothing but follow you around that you will be bored with after a few days once the novelty wears off.

Bad news guys...
The CE pets are selling on the european servers for only about 100k + a few ectos. Most people want to get rid of them as long they are worth something.
A guild mate has now 5 of those pets..

Heh what will happen if somewhere down the road Anet decide to add extra features to/for the pets (mini arena/quests/whatever) - people who sold their unique dragon will feel a bit silly

What's with that awkward move it does when it stops? It like does this thing where it goes upright, but it's so quick and unnatural looking. the dragon itself looks awesome, but that one move really bugs me. I wish it kept doing the wavy move all the time.
The bone dragon is still my fav.

I'm hoping I get a bone dragon for my b-day. That way I'll have the full set of dragons (yeah, I know, it's only a pair, but set sounds more impressive).

sold mine for 100k cause i need the money for something useful. 15k kurzick armor. Because i tested the bloody thing and it actually blocked my path preventing me from tanking properly. so in my opinnion it's useless and has a novelty value

I cannot believe that people are selling them, I felt bad when I sold my Birthday Troll last night.
There is no way I would sell Kunnie

I think for next chapter we're going to have a Pet Master race, and it will be just like Pokemon. "Prince Rurik - I Choose You!".

I grew up on Ninja Turtles. Never got into Pokemon (course I was a bit old for em when they became popular ), so I think I'm gonna keep my dragon.

Well, I dont know what your smoking but I've been playing with mini pets for a while, and in hopes to stop a bad rumor... I'll let everyone know that mini pets dont body block. You can run right through them. Anet isnt stupid enough to let this happen, or people would exploit this in pvp. Anyways, dont let this discourage you from having a mini pet.. They wont block your path.

I went into EB shop in Adelaide, Australia yesterday just to have a look and on the shelf was a copy of factions CE. So I grabbed a copy paid my $99 Aust and now I have my mini dragon. I had one person in factions offer to pay me just 75k for mine. Lol I said I don’t think so, he is so cute how could you sell him?

I realized that because so many people have CE now and are willing to sell their dragons, that they are down there with the cheaper mini pets. They aren't anywhere near the prices of the much rarer Shiro, Rurik and Bone Dragon. Boney is still my favorite. The Kuunavang flys, but I cant get over that quick awkward move it does when it stops. It looks so odd. I like when it flys and does that wavy motion. I wish it did that all the time.

No, people wouldn't exploit it in PVP because you cannot release your mini pet in any PVP areas. Although you should be able to since it has no effect other than a novelty visual effect. You should also be able to release your mini pet in towns. You should also be able to release more than one mini pet at the same time. You should also be able to name them (ie: have the name appear as a "title" would appear on a character).
Anet really went out of their way to needlessly make mini pet usage be severely lacking.

"...you should also be able to release your mini pet in towns..."
No. The problem with this is that if everyone in a town could have a minipet out, this essentially doubles the number of mobs (mobile objects) the server has to keep track of and the players' computers have to render.
"...you should also be able to release more than one mini pet at the same time..."
Again, No, for similar reasons. For example, consider this scenario: 7 players, all with 40 mini pets in their inventory, invite a random 8th person into a party, and unleash all the mini pets. That is 280 objects on the screen. How many computers do you think can handle that many objects at once?
"You should also be able to name them"
This implies that you would want them to be somehow selectable or "highlightable" when they are released. This would then lead to targetting issues, especially if your first and/or second idea were implemented.
Basically, a lot of the things you cannot do with mini pets is likely due to technical concerns or possible griefing concerns. You can argue "oh but that would never happen" or "that would be so hard to do, it is completely unlikely," but in a community this large, you can't simply excuse long shots.
